When visiting Sequoia or Kings Canyon National Park, enjoy your lodging in a unique two-bedroom cabin located in Squaw Valley near Dunlap. Just 18 miles from the north entrance of Sequoia/Kings Canyon National Parks and 38 miles east of Fresno Yosemite International Airport, the cabin is set in the foothills of California’s Sierra Nevada Mountains on a 160-acre private ranch in a secluded location. The fully furnished cabin is perfect for a honeymoon, a relaxing family retreat or an equestrian vacation. The cabin is located one mile from the Fresno Field Archers and a few miles to the Dunlap Hang Gliding Flight Park. There is fishing and boating at nearby Pine Flat Lake where houseboat rentals are available. In late spring and early summer, enjoy exhilarating river rafting on the King’s river. King's Canyon/Sequoia National Park, and the adjoining National Forest, has 4,000,000 acres of some of the most spectacular sights and scenes anywhere in the world. Both parks have soaring mountain peaks, countless lakes, waterfalls, cascading creeks and flowering meadows. The deepest gorge in North America and giant Sequoia trees are both in these very diverse parks. They are truly a masterpiece of nature. Activities in the parks include sightseeing, hang gliding, hiking, backpacking, world-class rock climbing, fishing, horseback riding, cross-country skiing and white water rafting.
If you are interested in riding your horse on the ranch or trailering to the many trails in the national forest, two 12 x 12 stalls are available.
